direction, clarity of strategy, personal development; it’s a huge responsibility and it’s entirely yours. Little wonder you’re sometimes sleepless in the small hours or struggling to answer those really big questions. “What am I doing?”, “Am I the right person for the job?” “Do I know all that I need to?”
Who can you really turn to for totally impartial advice?
Our members know how you feel. They’ve faced these questions many times before and done something about it. They’ve joined The Academy for Chief Executives. And, through peer group learning, practical experts, a network of successful business leaders and expert coaching, they are guided on a journey
to greater success. They develop and grow their businesses, and are inspired to be the best.
The Academy for Chief Executives creates great business
leaders who learn and are inspired from each other.

the wish to help each other succeed. The Academy creates
great business leaders who learn and are inspired from each other.
My membership forces me to take time out of the business
and to reflect on the future. Before The Academy,I was too immersed in my business to take a step back.Clarity on direction for me and my company provide the most valuable benefit for me. I’m also finding more time for the family
which has improved my work/life balance and I feel more relaxed.

Why Join?
There are many shared benefits of membership, and indeed many very individual ones. Our members most frequently cite the following for why they joined, and why over 80% of them renew their membership every year:
They felt isolated in the top job.
They needed people to talk to without any vested interest in
their business.
They needed to refuel and replenish their own energy and
desire to grow.
They needed a supportive but challenging environment to explore new ideas without feeling exposed.
They needed first hand access to practical models and concrete
examples of how others deal with similar dilemmas.
They needed more rigour in tracking business performance.
They needed to raise their aspirations about what
they can have, what they can do and, crucially,
who they can be.
In essence, our members join because they want to be inspired to lead.
Who can you really turn to for totally impartial advice?
Our business is much more profitable than it was before – the things I have implemented as a result of speaker input and honest feedback from my fellow members has helped us to stand out from our competitors, not just to stand up to them.

The Academy has given me a boardroom of my own where there are no hidden agendas, just people who are working to help me. It has taught me skills, which I use all the time in my day to day life. It has given me direction out of a life filled with stress and dissatisfaction. Life’s ups and downs now seem manageable and I look forward to each new adventure.

How does it work?
You will join a small group of up to 20 non-competing Chief Executives or Managing Directors who meet one day every month in a confidential, problem solving environment to gain fresh perspectives and to look at things through new eyes. The group is facilitated by a highly experienced business
coach, the Group Chairman, whose main purpose is to bring incredible value to you and your fellow members.
In addition to the monthly group meeting, you will receive one-to-one coaching and mentoring every month from your Chairman. At many meetings, professional speakers are invited, by you and your peers, to present their advice and expertise, inspiring you to develop breakthrough ideas for yourself and your business.A two day annual retreat, where members explore and refine personal, business and community goals, provides an opportunity for you to spend quality, facilitated time on yourself.Where else can you receive so much valuable,
challenging, supportive advice and direction? Academy membership has been an invaluable tool in helping me to grow the business and to develop personally. You need to make
time away from the business to improve your skill set and
being able to look at ways that I can run the business better
is a massive benefit.
